Rock Out

Your life isn’t the whole band, no my friend its a solo…

Stop trying to play every instrument, and let yours be the whole show…

Make the crowd dance like they got ants in they pants

Or make them all shed a tear for all the things they hold dear…

Get the feet a tappin, work the rhythm to the fingers – get philanges snappin…

Hair whip like Willow, get em comfy like a pillow

Turn em up like an amp, then light em up like a lamp…

Have em rub the air three times, cuz they feeling your vibe

Then show some real magic on em, going Genie on they minds…

Don’t worry about the background, be consumed by your scene!

And as you zone out, you will see what I mean…

See your stage is just a fractal – a basic replicate of a whole…

Each one, on each stage, is killin’ their own show…

Only God can see the whole thing, because He is the composer

And when try too hard to see it all, our own performance goes slower…

Stick to your instrument, and let your ring!!

Your clue of harmony will be when the earth sings…

So rock it out!!!!!!

Go crazy on that guitar!!!!

Rock it out!!!!!

Bass bounce me from here to the stars!!!!

Cymbals clash, snare bash, hi-hat, toms, and base – SMASH…

Keys get funky wit it, do the impossible everyday!!!

Somebody grab that flute, and do new things with it today!!!

Saxophone, you better own, your legacy, come on!!!!

Rock it out, rock it out, rock it out EVERYONE!!!!!

Your solo is e pluribus unum, so we need all that you’ve got

Everybody all in keeps fresh from goin to rot…

So if about yourself, you ever have any doubts…

Recall the one rule to live by – Grab your instrument and rock.  The frik.  OUT.
