Civilian Burden

The winds blow on the cactus plant
As the worms weave through the cabbage patch…
Nature serves itself its own orders…
And it always orders a full course meal.
Sparrow flies straight as its namesake as the crow flies to the eagle’s ledge…
It wants to see.
Lead hunting dog resigns to simply enjoy its existence- it wants to be.
Clouds cry over everybody’s fate, and over the strength for those stuck on a lost way…
The winds blow on the cactus plant…
Sun beams and desert eddies do a complex dance…
Like a smoooth hand shake the fingers are in a trance…
Heart is smitten after only a single glance.
… We’re all just waiting for Superman
